伊吹山：雨で滑る表登山道霧に注意

今日の伊吹山は終日雨模様となる。午前は弱い霧雨で推移するが、正午には霧雨が強まり、午後15時にはまとまった雨となる見込みだ。山頂付近の気温は18℃前後で推移するが、湿度95%と非常に高く、雨に濡れると体感は13℃程度まで大きく下がるだろう。地面は午前からウェットコンディションとなり、午後からの降雨で表登山道は泥濘状態となるだろう。伊吹山特有の石灰岩質は濡れると非常に滑りやすく、特に下山時には転倒リスクが高まるため細心の注意が必要だ。防水性の登山靴に加え、必ず防水透湿性のレインウェア上下を携行すること。視界は午前中は良好だが、正午以降は霧雨や雨によって急激に低下する可能性が高い。山頂付近の広いお花畑では霧での道迷いのリスクも増すため、地図とコンパス、またはGPSによる現在地確認を徹底すること。一気登りとなるこの山で濡れた状態での行動は、体力消耗を加速させ低体温症のリスクを顕著に高める。強風や雷のリスクは低いが、終日の降水が予想される。適切なレイヤリングとして、速乾性ベースレイヤーに薄手フリースなどのミッドレイヤー、そしてアウターにはレインウェアを着用する。早めの行動開始と、降雨が強まる前に安全な場所へ下山を終える計画と判断が求められる。十分な行動食と水分も忘れずに携行すること。
