Mount Ibuki summit is experiencing a thinly cloudy morning. As of 07:30, the temperature is 8.1°C with a felt temperature of 5.9°C, making it chilly. Visibility is good at 7.1km, promising views of Lake Biwa and the Nobi Plain. Thin clouds will persist throughout the day, with a low risk of precipitation. A temperature difference of over 8°C exists between the summit and the base, requiring attention to the cold at higher altitudes.

The daytime high temperature will remain around 9.5°C, but the felt temperature will stay in single digits due to wind chill throughout the day. Gusts are forecasted to exceed 13 m/s. As an independent peak in the Kansai region, Mount Ibuki is highly susceptible to wind. The ridge leading from the Omote Tozando (Ueno Trailhead) to the summit, in particular, poses a risk of strong crosswinds. Be sure to wear a quick-drying base layer, a mid-layer like fleece, and a windproof and waterproof outer shell. Carry gloves and a hat to prevent hypothermia. The ground is generally dry, but some parts of the limestone terrain may be slippery if damp, so watch your footing carefully.

The risk of lightning is extremely low. Thinly cloudy conditions will continue into the evening, with gusts potentially exceeding 15 m/s overnight. While activity is possible, extreme caution is required for maintaining balance on the ridge.
