Currently, Tomuraushi summit is cloudy with a perceived temperature of 10.5℃ and 94% humidity, limiting visibility to less than 1km. The base also experiences light drizzle. Throughout the day, light drizzle will persist, with temperatures hovering around 11℃. However, considering wind speed and humidity, the perceived temperature will drop to approximately 7℃. On ridges and exposed areas, the actual perceived temperature will be even lower due to stronger wind effects.

Ground conditions are wet, making the Rock Garden and rocky sections slippery. Visibility in the North and South Marsh wetlands will be severely restricted by dense fog, posing a very high risk of getting lost. The current high humidity and poor visibility are reminiscent of the rapid weather deterioration seen in the 2009 accident. Waterproof and breathable rain gear, insulating layers such as fleece, and waterproof gloves are essential.

From evening into night, the drizzle will intensify, temperatures will drop to around 9℃, and perceived temperatures will fall to 2-5℃. Gusts exceeding 10m/s will significantly increase the risk of hypothermia. Given the long and challenging nature of the Tomuraushi course, an early start, a well-planned itinerary, and clear turnaround criteria are crucial for ensuring safety.
