The summit currently experiences cloudy conditions with visibility under 1km due to dense fog. The temperature is 11.4℃ with virtually no wind, making the feels-like temperature similar. The base area is 17.3℃, showing a significant 6℃ difference. Light clouds are expected to persist after 9 AM, with light drizzle anticipated around noon. Dense fog from the Sea of Japan is likely to linger around the Misen summit, severely limiting visibility.

During activity, the feels-like temperature could drop to around 5℃ around noon due to gusts up to 8m/s. A moisture-wicking base layer, an insulating mid-layer such as fleece, and a waterproof and windproof outer shell are essential. Especially when trekking in light drizzle, there's a risk of hypothermia from getting wet, so waterproof rain gear is mandatory.
