Throughout the day, the perceived temperature at the summit is expected to range from 5°C to 7°C. The conditions are relatively favorable for navigating the exposed rock sections of the summit, including the chains and ladders on the Hozaki peak. However, remain vigilant for potential rockfalls and slips, especially in the area directly below the summit, and be aware of possible congestion from other climbers.

The ground is free of snow, with exposed rock ridges in dry condition. Crampons or microspikes are not required, but cautious foot placement is essential to prevent slips on rocky terrain. There is approximately a 10°C temperature difference between the base and the summit, meaning it will be significantly colder on the ridge. For layering, wear a moisture-wicking base layer, a fleece or similar mid-layer, and a windproof and waterproof outer shell. Carry a light down jacket, gloves, and a hat for stops or in case of stronger winds.

While the forecast indicates partly cloudy skies in the afternoon with a 30% chance of precipitation after 12:00 PM, no rainfall is expected. Nevertheless, be mindful of the sudden onset of summer thunderstorms and lightning, which are common in alpine environments. If you observe any changes in the sky, be prepared to act quickly. Overnight, temperatures at the summit are forecast to drop to around 3°C, so ensure you have adequate cold weather gear for camping or staying in a mountain hut.
