Today on Mount Shari, expect cloudy skies with intermittent light drizzle or light rain throughout the day. Summit temperatures will hover around 10℃ in the morning, gradually dropping to the 6℃ range by evening and night. There is approximately a 4℃ temperature difference between the summit and the base, and the perceived temperature will feel even colder at higher elevations.

Due to continuous precipitation, the trails will be generally wet and muddy. Particularly, the stream-side routes are expected to be very slippery. The Old Trail from Kiyotake hut, which passes through a series of waterfalls, poses a high risk of slipping on wet rocks. Be prepared for the possibility of stream crossings becoming impassable due to sudden increases in water levels, and proceed with extreme caution.

With perceived temperatures around 8℃ during the day and dropping to approximately 5℃ in the evening, waterproof and breathable rain gear (jacket and pants) is essential. As your body temperature can easily drop during activity, always carry additional insulation such as fleece or a light down jacket for breaks or windy ridge sections. Choose hiking boots with good grip for the slippery terrain, and trekking poles can be beneficial. Although winds are light, the combination of precipitation and decreasing temperatures increases the risk of hypothermia. Ensure you stay dry and maintain your body warmth. Current visibility is good, but consider the possibility of temporary deterioration due to drizzle and do not neglect your navigation preparations.
