The morning is clear with good visibility, but a brief period of light drizzle is expected around noon, with a 96% chance of precipitation. Particular caution is advised during this time.

The ground is currently free of snow, with exposed rock ridges. The drizzle around noon will temporarily wet the rock surfaces. Especially in rocky sections like the area around Hachihonba-no-Col, wet rocks can be slippery, increasing the risk of falls. Exercise careful foot placement and use gloves to grip rocks if necessary. Gusts will reach up to approximately 11.4m/s, which is not severe enough to halt activity, but be mindful of maintaining balance on exposed ridges.

With felt temperatures hovering around 0°C on the summit, proper insulation is crucial to mitigate the risk of hypothermia. Beyond a base layer, a mid-layer such as fleece and a waterproof breathable outer shell are essential. Prepare to wear full rain gear before the drizzle begins around noon to avoid getting wet. During breaks, use an insulating layer like a down jacket to prevent chilling. Crampons or microspikes are not necessary.
