Morning activity begins under thin clouds, but light drizzle is expected to start around noon, with precipitation probability exceeding 80% by afternoon. Temperatures will remain around 10-12°C, but getting wet from the drizzle will lower the perceived temperature.

Today, particular caution is advised on the chain sections such as Ichino-kusari, Nino-kusari, and Sanno-kusari. The rock surfaces will become wet and extremely slippery due to the drizzle. Maintain careful foot placement and always use three points of contact. If you feel uncertain, do not hesitate to use the bypass routes; this decision can save your life. Visibility is currently over 20km, but it could rapidly deteriorate if the rain intensifies. Ground conditions will be wet, with muddy sections likely.

Layering should include a wicking base layer, a mid-layer such as fleece, and a waterproof/breathable outer shell. Rain gear is essential. The risk of hypothermia increases when wet, so always carry spare warm clothing. While daytime gusts are expected up to about 7m/s, they may feel stronger on exposed ridges. The risk of lightning is low.
