Niseko Annupuri summit temperatures are expected to rise from 9°C in the morning to 12°C, then gradually drop to 7.6°C in the afternoon. Winds will remain very light at 1-2 m/s throughout the day, with good visibility at 4.5km. Ridge line access to Niseko Annupuri should be relatively easy today. However, be aware that the wind direction will shift to the northwest around 3 PM, and the perceived temperature will start to drop.

There is no snow cover. Light drizzle is forecast for 12:00 and 15:00, making the ground from the summit down the northwest slopes generally wet and muddy with exposed rocky sections. Waterproof trekking shoes are essential due to potentially slippery areas. Crampons or microspikes are not needed.

As indicated by the automated risk assessment, a sharp temperature drop of 7°C is expected at the summit during the forecast period. Temperatures will fall to around 3°C in the evening, increasing the risk of hypothermia. While a base layer, light fleece, and outer shell are sufficient for daytime, always carry an additional insulating mid-layer (light down or thicker fleece). Be prepared for sudden changes during your activity and make early decisions to turn back if necessary. Risks of strong winds and lightning are low, but continue to exercise caution against slips and falls on wet ground.
