Today, the Kuju Mountains are cloudy, with visibility under 1km at the summit due to fog. The summit's felt temperature at 7:30 AM is 10.6℃, approximately 5 degrees cooler than the base. Daytime temperatures will range from 12℃ to 15℃, but humidity remains high at 99%, with light drizzle forecast from the morning.

Trail conditions will be generally wet, with muddy sections expected, particularly on the route from Makinoto Pass towards Bogatsuru Marsh and on steep slopes composed of volcanic ash soil. Footing will be slippery, requiring careful steps. There is no snow, so crampons or microspikes are not needed.

Due to the drizzle and high humidity, waterproof and breathable rain gear (jacket and pants) is essential. To mitigate the risk of hypothermia during your activity, carry insulating layers for breaks and gloves that retain warmth even when wet. In conditions of poor visibility, the risk of getting lost in the fog is high, so do not neglect to carry a map, compass, and GPS. While a brief clear spell is expected around 3 PM, light rain or drizzle is forecast again from 6 PM onwards. The wind direction will shift to southwest overnight, with a tendency for increased wind speeds. Avoid activity after sunset.
