With no snowpack and no precipitation, ground conditions will remain dry. A moisture-wicking base layer, a light fleece mid-layer, and a windproof shell are adequate for the pleasant conditions.

Winds are forecast to pick up in the afternoon, with gusts potentially reaching 10.1 m/s by noon. The summit ridge, at 735m, will be particularly exposed to these stronger winds. There is an increased risk of losing balance or being knocked off your feet on the summit ridge, requiring extreme caution.
