Currently, Mount Haku summit experiences light drizzle with a perceived temperature of minus 0.5 degrees Celsius and poor visibility of 1.9 kilometers. The temperature difference from the base is approximately 9 degrees. Light rain or drizzle will continue throughout the day, with temperatures around 3 degrees Celsius, but wind chill will keep the perceived temperature between 0 and minus 2 degrees Celsius.

Poor visibility due to dense fog will persist on the main ridges leading to Gozen-mine and O-nanji-mine. Particularly on remaining snow patches, such as those found on the upper sections of Sabo Shindo, the risk of slipping and falling is high due to reduced visibility and wet snow surfaces. Waterproof and breathable rain gear is essential, and a wicking base layer is recommended. Carry a thick fleece or light down jacket as a mid-layer and always pack extra insulation. Light crampons or chain spikes should also be prepared.

Temperatures will drop below freezing by 3 PM, with heavy snow beginning in the evening. Overnight, temperatures are expected to fall to around minus 7 degrees Celsius, with increased snowfall. A maximum of 2.3 centimeters of snow per 3 hours is forecasted, raising the avalanche risk due to new snow accumulation. Strictly avoid entering steep gully-like terrain and wind-loaded slopes.

A rapid temperature drop of 11 degrees Celsius is expected within the forecast period. The risk of hypothermia is extremely high, so an early decision to turn back is strongly advised. Overnight, gusts exceeding 20 meters per second are expected on the ridges, making any activity impossible.
