今朝の十勝岳山頂は快晴、視程は20km以上と良好だ。気温は9.3℃、体感は8.1℃と涼しい。山麓との気温差は約7.6℃。午前中は穏やかなコンディションが続くが、正午にかけて曇りとなり、午後15時頃からは弱い霧雨が予想される。降水量はわずかだが、濡れることで体感温度が低下する。
地面は現状ドライだが、午後には霧雨で岩場や土壌が湿り、滑りやすくなる箇所が出るだろう。アイゼンやチェーンスパイクは不要。雨具上下は必ず携行し、防寒対策としてフリースなどのミッドレイヤー、手袋、帽子も準備すること。特に大正噴火火口や新噴火口周辺は火山ガス濃度が高い区間がある。今日の風は弱くガスが滞留しやすい可能性があるため、これらのエリアでの長時間の滞在は避け、体調の変化に注意を払うこと。
雷のリスクは低い。風も最大突風7.2m/s程度と弱く、強風による行動制限はない。ただし、午後からの霧雨で濡れると体感は下がるため、低体温症のリスクは皆無ではない。早めの行動開始で、天候悪化前の下山を推奨する。
