The summit's humidity is very high at 89%, suggesting the wooden boardwalks within the vast summit plateau wetlands are already wet. The surrounding wetland soil is likely muddy in many areas.

Temperatures will rise to 18 degrees Celsius during the day, but precipitation probability increases to 98% to 100% between 12:00 and 15:00. Although the forecast indicates 0mm of precipitation, this could signify brief, light rain or drizzle, or potentially be a precursor to thunderstorms. Thunderstorms are a specific risk for Mt. Naeba, and the exposed summit plateau offers little shelter, making it extremely dangerous if lightning strikes. Should you hear thunder or see lightning, immediately descend from ridges and peaks to a safer location.

For today's activity, carrying waterproof and windproof rain gear (jacket and pants) is essential. A layering system comprising a wicking base layer, a light fleece or long-sleeved shirt as a mid-layer, and rain gear as an outer layer is appropriate. Gusts are predicted to reach up to 9.7 meters per second, making the perceived temperature around 15 degrees Celsius even when the air temperature is 18 degrees. Stepping off the wooden boardwalks within the wetlands is strictly prohibited to protect the delicate vegetation.
