Due to precipitation and high humidity, ground conditions are generally wet and muddy. Particular caution is advised on popular trails like Sabo Shindo, where slippery sections are prevalent. There is no remaining snow.
Daytime wind gusts are forecast to reach up to 19.1m/s, posing a risk of being buffeted by wind on exposed ridges such as Gozenmine and Onanjimine. Visibility is poor at 1.4km, requiring strict vigilance against getting lost or slipping due to dense fog. The risk of hypothermia also increases when exposed to rain at these temperatures. When exploring the Oike-meguri (pond circuit), be mindful of slippery footing.
Layering should include a quick-drying base, an insulating mid-layer like fleece, and essential waterproof-breathable rainwear (jacket and pants). Gloves and a hat are also recommended. The rain is expected to cease around 3 PM, with weather improving towards evening. However, exercise extreme caution during daytime activities.
