Wear a quick-drying base layer, a fleece mid-layer, and a waterproof-breathable rain jacket and pants. Always carry extra insulating layers.

Due to continuous mist, ground conditions will remain wet throughout the day. Particular caution is advised in the Lock Garden, where wet boulders will be extremely slippery. However, even these mild winds can accelerate heat loss when your body is wet, increasing the risk of hypothermia on this challenging long-distance course. Ensure frequent hydration and nutrition, and take measures to stay dry. After 6 PM, precipitation is expected to cease, and weather conditions should improve, but remain vigilant against the cold from accumulated moisture.
