Wear gloves with good grip and strictly maintain three points of contact. If unsure, strongly consider using the bypass routes. The route from Misen to Tengudake also involves wet rocky terrain, demanding extreme caution due to poor visibility.

Temperatures will hover around 14℃ during the day, but the combined effect of rain and wind will make it feel colder. Essential layering includes a moisture-wicking base layer, a thin fleece or synthetic mid-layer, and a waterproof-breathable rain jacket and pants. Continuing to move while wet significantly increases the risk of hypothermia, requiring prompt action.
