There is an approximate 8°C difference in temperature between the summit and the base, so even if ascending via the Tenjin Ridge ropeway, be aware that the conditions near the ridge will be significantly different. Humidity is very high at 99%, with a forecast of light drizzle developing in the afternoon.

The ground is wet, and exposed rocky sections are likely to be slippery. While there is no snow accumulation, rain gear is essential. The effective temperature of 6.2°C is low for summer mountaineering, making body temperature management crucial during activity. Wear a wicking long-sleeve base layer, a thin fleece for a mid-layer, and a waterproof-breathable hard shell as an outer layer. Additionally, carry an insulating layer like a lightweight down or synthetic jacket, gloves, and a knit hat.

Gusts of up to 14.4 m/s are expected during the day, posing a risk of losing balance on exposed ridge sections such as Toma-no-Mimi and Oki-no-Mimi. The area near the Ichinokura-sawa East Face is particularly prone to strong winds, increasing the risk of falls. Be vigilant for Tanigawadake's characteristic rapid weather changes and route loss due to dense fog. If visibility deteriorates, be prepared to turn back. The high humidity and low temperatures also elevate the risk of hypothermia, so ensure you stay dry and plan for an early descent.
