The forecast indicates a transition from cloudy to partly cloudy, with the fog expected to clear around noon, leading to mostly clear skies in the afternoon. Winds will remain gentle throughout the day, with gusts not exceeding 6m/s, suggesting a generally calm day for hiking.

With a current humidity of 99%, the ground is presumed to be wet. Specifically, in the marshlands of Hakkoda, such as those along the route from the Tamoyachi-dake Ropeway to Mt. Odake, wooden paths and rocky sections are likely to be slippery. Muddy areas are also anticipated, so extreme caution is advised for foot placement.
