While the day may see a temporary shift from drizzle to light cloud cover, heavy rain is expected to return from evening.

Hiking trails are thoroughly wet due to continuous rainfall. Muddy sections are anticipated, especially on routes like the Makino-to Pass Course, where soil is exposed. Exposed rocky areas are also slippery, increasing the risk of falls. Given the poor visibility, navigating routes towards Mt. Nakadake and Mt. Kuju requires extra caution and diligent map reading. The area around Bogatsuru Marsh is also prone to dense fog.

The perceived temperature is around 14-15℃, but body heat can be lost rapidly when wet. A quick-drying base layer, an insulating fleece mid-layer, and a waterproof-breathable rain jacket as an outer layer are essential. Carrying spare dry clothing is also crucial. Although no thunderstorms are forecast, always be vigilant for sudden changes in summer mountain weather. While winds are light during the day, they are expected to strengthen to over 5m/s with gusts up to 12.6m/s overnight, making evening activities ill-advised. Hypothermia risk is elevated; prioritize staying dry and avoid unnecessary risks.
