シベリアからの寒気団と日本海の水蒸気が結びつき、毎冬14m前後の積雪を記録する世界屈指の豪雪エリア。広大な緩中斜面、急峻なゲートエリア、ツリーラン、コブ斜面まで多彩な地形を有する。
ベストシーズン Best Season
1月〜2月がパウダー最盛期で「JAPOW」と呼ばれる極上の雪質を体験できる。3月以降は気温上昇で春雪となり、雪崩リスクも上昇する。
