For your layering, a quick-drying base layer, a mid-layer such as fleece, and a waterproof and windproof outer layer are recommended. The outer layer is essential, especially when traversing the exposed ridge walk from Katta-dake to Kumano-dake and Jizo-san, where winds can be more noticeable. Adhere strictly to the entry regulations around Mount Okama crater lake. Visibility is good, so enjoy the views safely. Be mindful of coexistence with tourists, as the area can be crowded.

The risk of thunderstorms is low, but the chance of precipitation increases in the afternoon, with rain expected to begin around 9 PM. Although the rainfall volume is not significant, carrying rain gear is mandatory. Temperatures will remain around 9℃ even at night, so the risk of hypothermia during activity is low, but be cautious of cooling down if you get wet in the rain. While daytime conditions are stable, consider the evening weather change and be prepared to turn back if your plans extend into the evening.
