Today, Mount Akadake in Yatsugatake offers excellent conditions for climbing, with clear skies and calm winds persisting throughout the day. Summit temperatures will feel between 2 to 5 degrees Celsius during the morning hours. Winds will remain light, with gusts peaking at approximately 11.1 meters per second, making conditions relatively easy for movement on the exposed ridges.

The ground is completely dry due to the recent spell of clear weather. Rock sections, including the chained routes on Bunsaburo-one and Jizo-one, are fully exposed and dry. While the risk of slipping is generally low under these conditions, climbers must still exercise extreme caution for loose rocks and unstable footing. Crampons or microspikes are entirely unnecessary today.

For layering, a quick-dry base layer, a fleece mid-layer, and a windproof softshell as an outer layer will be sufficient. It is crucial to carry an additional insulating layer, such as a lightweight down jacket, to wear during breaks or when exposed to stronger winds on the ridge. While the risk of hypothermia is low, always be prepared for a drop in perceived temperature on the exposed sections. The risk of lightning is extremely low.

Clouds are forecasted to gather in the evening, but precipitation will be limited to a weak drizzle expected late at night, with no significant deterioration in visibility. Overnight temperatures will drop to around 4 degrees Celsius, necessitating robust insulation if you plan to stay on the mountain.
