Tanigawadake summit currently enjoys clear skies with a comfortable temperature of 10.9°C, feeling like 9.2°C. Winds are light, and visibility is excellent at over 20km. There is about a 9°C temperature difference between the summit and the base, making the ridge line pleasantly cool. Mostly clear conditions are expected throughout the day, with temperatures rising to a maximum of 15.1°C. Light winds will make ridge walking to Toma-no-Mimi and Oki-no-Mimi enjoyable.

With no precipitation and mild temperatures, ground conditions are dry, exposing rocky terrain. The risk of muddy sections is low, and trails are easy to navigate, though caution against slips is always advised. No residual snow is observed at this time. For layering, a quick-drying base layer, a thin fleece or softshell as a mid-layer, and a windproof jacket as an outer layer are appropriate. Carry a lightweight down jacket or similar for warmth during breaks or in the cooler mornings and evenings. Crampons or microspikes are not necessary. Rain gear should be carried as a precaution.

Tanigawadake is known for its sudden weather changes, but stable conditions are forecast for the entire day. However, southerly winds will pick up slightly after 18:00, with gusts reaching up to 8.9m/s at night. This will not affect daytime activities, but nighttime ridge travel is not recommended. The risk of thunderstorms is low. While the risk of hypothermia is low during the day, temperatures will drop to single digits in the evening, requiring adequate insulation.
