Niseko Annupuri will experience fine weather today with mostly clear skies. Summit temperatures will rise to around 16°C in the morning and reach over 18°C by midday. Winds will be light, predominantly from the south, with gusts up to approximately 9.5 m/s. The typical risk of strong northwest winds is minimal today.

Snow cover has completely melted, ensuring dry ground conditions across the mountain. The long gentle to moderate courses will offer very comfortable hiking. Ridge access is also clear with visibility exceeding 20km, posing no issues.

For layering, a quick-drying base layer, a light mid-layer, and a windproof jacket will be sufficient during the day. However, as indicated by the automated risk assessment, a rapid temperature drop of up to 10°C is expected from day to night.

Even for day trips, prepare for potential night-time stops by carrying an extra warm layer such as a fleece or down jacket. Be prepared for sudden changes during your activity and make an early decision to turn back if conditions deteriorate.
