Mount Akadake summit is currently clear with a temperature of 5 degrees Celsius, feeling like 0.7 degrees Celsius. There is an 8.7 degree Celsius temperature difference from the base. Although the summit temperature is expected to rise to 10.1 degrees Celsius by 3 PM, the perceived temperature will remain low, around 7 degrees Celsius at its highest. Wear a wicking base layer, a mid-layer like fleece, and always carry an outer layer such as a lightweight down jacket for breaks or exposed ridges. Gloves and a hat are also essential to manage body temperature effectively.

There is no precipitation or snowfall forecast, and no snow cover, indicating dry, exposed rock conditions around the summit. Crampons or microspikes are not necessary. However, given the rocky terrain characteristic of the Yatsugatake range, be mindful that the rock faces on routes like the Bunzaburo-one and Jizo-one chains may still be damp in shaded or recessed areas. Maintain careful three-point contact at all times to prevent slips. Most falling accidents occur due to complacency.

Gusts are forecast to reach up to 14.1 m/s in the afternoon. Particular caution is advised on exposed ridges where balance can be compromised. While the risk of lightning is low due to no precipitation, always carry rain gear in the mountains. With consistently low perceived temperatures, be wary of hypothermia from sweat-induced chilling during activity or while stationary. With proper equipment and planning, all-day activity is feasible. Temperatures will drop significantly after sunset, so avoid night operations.
