Currently, the summit of Hoshino Resorts Tomamu is cloudy with a temperature of 11.8°C, feeling like 10.1°C. The temperature difference from the base is 3.9°C, indicating cooler air at the summit. Gentle west-southwesterly winds are expected throughout the day, increasing slightly in the afternoon, but gusts will remain around 10.1 m/s. There is no precipitation, and the ground will remain generally dry.

The weather is forecast to improve to "mostly sunny" in the afternoon. Summit temperatures are expected to rise to 16.5°C by around 3 PM. Visibility is excellent, exceeding 20km, so good views from the Unkai Terrace can be anticipated all day. With zero snow depth, winter equipment such as crampons or microspikes is not necessary.

Conditions are generally comfortable for activity. However, as the sun intensifies, ensure adequate hydration and sun protection. Even in open areas like the North Burn and Riverside, winds will be relatively mild, but be mindful of a drop in perceived temperature during prolonged stops.

Temperatures are expected to drop to around 9°C overnight. If your activity extends into the evening, it is wise to carry insulating layers such as fleece to prepare for potential hypothermia.
