Current conditions at Sapporo Teine summit are cloudy with a temperature of 11.1℃, feeling like 9.9℃. The temperature difference from the base is 2.8℃, consistent with elevation. The day is expected to be mostly sunny, with temperatures rising to 16.2℃ by noon. There is no snow cover and no precipitation, indicating dry to slightly wet ground conditions. Hiking trails are clear, and microspikes or crampons are not necessary.

Winds are forecast to pick up in the afternoon, with gusts reaching 11.6m/s by 3 PM and up to 12.3m/s overnight. In exposed areas like the Highland Zone, these strong winds can significantly lower the perceived temperature and impact stability. While views of Sapporo and Ishikari Bay will be excellent during the day, exercise caution against loss of balance in strong gusts.

For layering, a moisture-wicking base layer, a light fleece mid-layer, and a windproof shell as an outer layer are recommended.
