The base area is 11 degrees Celsius, indicating a significant temperature difference. While morning hours remain cloudy, it is expected to clear up to mostly sunny conditions after 9 AM, with daytime temperatures rising above 10 degrees Celsius, reaching up to 11.7 degrees Celsius in the afternoon, promising a mild day.

There is no snow cover and no precipitation is forecasted, suggesting generally dry conditions for routes ascending the Hirafu slopes. However, be aware that shaded areas, stream beds, and particularly the gully terrain around the sidecountry gates may have wet or muddy sections due to snowmelt. Wear light hiking boots and proceed with caution as some sections may be slippery.
