Around noon, light drizzle is possible, and winds will shift to the northwest, gusting up to 10.7m/s. The upper sections of Niseko Annupuri's northwest slopes and ridges will be significantly affected by these strong northwest winds. Visibility remains good, but be aware of the wind chill effect. With no snow cover, the ground will be wet to muddy due to high daytime temperatures and the afternoon drizzle. Exercise caution with footing, especially in valleys and damp areas.

An automatic risk assessment indicates a rapid temperature drop. Temperatures will fall by 8°C into the evening, reaching around 3°C overnight. Prepare for sudden changes by carrying an extra insulating layer. Waterproof and windproof outerwear is essential. A base layer, light fleece, and an outer shell are recommended, along with a hat and gloves. Crampons or microspikes are not needed, but waterproof hiking boots are advised. While the risk of lightning is low, strong winds in the afternoon mean you should avoid prolonged stays on ridges and make early decisions to turn back.
