With no snowpack and daytime temperatures expected to rise into the mid-10s, trail conditions will remain generally dry, making for easy hiking.

From late morning through early afternoon, southwesterly winds will strengthen near the summit, with gusts potentially exceeding 16 m/s. This is typical of the "strong winds on the summit ridge" unique to Kamui Ski Links, significantly lowering the felt temperature. For layering, a base layer, a light mid-layer, and a wind-resistant shell are recommended as a basic setup for active periods. During breaks or in exposed windy areas, consider adding a thicker mid-layer such as a fleece.

The automatic risk assessment indicates a "rapid temperature drop" of over 7°C during the forecast period. Temperatures will fall significantly from evening onwards, reaching around 5°C at the summit overnight. Given the characteristic "rapid weather changes at lower elevations" of this area, carry an extra insulating layer if your activity extends into the evening. It is prudent to consider turning back early. While the risk of lightning is low, be vigilant against the strong daytime winds and the sharp drop in temperature at night.
