Currently, the summit of Yarigatake is clear with a temperature of 0.7℃, feeling like -3.5℃. The significant temperature difference of -11.5℃ from the base highlights the need to be prepared for drastic environmental changes due to altitude. Clear skies are expected to continue through the night and into early morning, with temperatures dropping to -4.7℃. Winds will remain calm, and there is no risk of lightning.

Due to these cold conditions, the 157cm deep residual snow will be very firm in the early morning, potentially approaching icy conditions in some areas. While the snow surface will gradually soften as temperatures rise during the day, particular caution is advised for morning activities. Navigating the Hotsaki no Kusariba (chains and ladders at the summit) may be challenging with crampons on. The risk of falls directly below the summit is ever-present, demanding careful movement.

Essential layering for warmth includes a moisture-wicking base layer, a mid-layer such as fleece, and a waterproof-breathable outer shell. A lightweight down jacket should also be carried for periods of inactivity. Crampons and an ice axe are mandatory and should be used appropriately depending on snow conditions. Although no significant alerts were detected by the automated risk assessment, conditions in the remaining snow season at 3000m peaks are always subject to change.
