The summit of Mt. Shari is currently cloudy, with a temperature of 7.1℃ and a feel-like temperature of 5℃. There is a 4.5℃ difference from the base. Winds are light, and visibility is approximately 3.3km, generally good. Conditions are expected to remain relatively calm through the morning. Temperatures will rise to 10.9℃ by midday, but high humidity will make it feel cooler than the actual temperature.

Light drizzle is forecast to begin around 3 PM and may continue intermittently into the night. This will make the Old Sawaroute, part of the Kiyotakeso starting loop route, slippery due to wet rocks and tree roots. Extreme caution is advised, especially in sections with continuous waterfalls. The ground will transition from wet to muddy, requiring waterproof hiking boots and careful foot placement.

Although daytime feel-like temperatures range from 5℃ to 10℃, high humidity and afternoon drizzle increase the risk of heat loss. To prevent hypothermia, essential gear includes a quick-drying base layer, a mid-layer such as fleece or light down, and a waterproof and breathable outer shell. Carry gloves and a hat, and wear rain gear promptly before getting wet. While winds will remain light throughout the day, posing no strong wind hazard, it is the active season for brown bears. Exercise extra vigilance in the less visible areas along the riverbeds.
