Naeba summit is mostly clear at 7 AM, with a temperature of 15.6 degrees Celsius and light winds. The base area is experiencing summer-like conditions at 23.5 degrees Celsius, a significant 7.9-degree difference from the summit, requiring careful gear selection. While temperatures are expected to rise to the upper 18s during the day, light drizzle is forecast for the summit plateau around noon, with very high humidity persisting. Current visibility is 3.8 kilometers, but it may further decrease with the onset of drizzle.

On the expansive summit plateau wetlands, the combination of humidity and light drizzle will make boardwalks wet and slippery. Stepping off the boardwalks into the fragile wetlands is strictly prohibited. Furthermore, reduced visibility increases the risk of getting lost in dense fog on the plateau. Carry a map, compass, and GPS, and constantly verify your route. Ground conditions will be wet, with some muddy sections expected.
