As of 7 AM, Mount Akadake in the Yatsugatake range presents mostly clear skies near the summit, with excellent visibility extending beyond 20 kilometers. The temperature is 12.5 degrees Celsius with light winds, making for comfortable climbing conditions. However, this favorable situation will change towards midday. While clear weather is expected until 9 AM, rain is forecast by noon, light drizzle by 3 PM, and rain again by 6 PM, indicating a deterioration in conditions during the earlier part of the day. A temperature difference of approximately 9 degrees Celsius exists between the summit and base, meaning the perceived temperature on the ridge will always be lower.

Ground conditions are dry this morning, but the rock ridges will become wet and slippery with the onset of rain after noon. Specifically, the chained sections on Bunzaburo-one and Jizo-one ridges will become unstable due to wet rocks, significantly increasing the risk of falls. Temperatures will range from 11 to 15 degrees Celsius throughout the day with light winds, but exposure to rain will significantly lower the perceived temperature, raising the risk of hypothermia. Essential gear includes a base layer, a light fleece, and a waterproof and breathable shell jacket and pants.

For today's climb, it is advisable to reach the summit early in the morning and begin descent before noon. There is also a possibility of reduced visibility on the ridges due to afternoon rain, and the risk of route loss in dense fog should be considered. Although no thunderstorms are specifically forecast, summer afternoon rain can be accompanied by sudden lightning, so prolonged stays on the exposed ridges should be avoided.
