Currently, visibility on the Furano Ski Resort summit is less than 1km due to dense fog. The day is expected to remain cloudy to partly cloudy, with light drizzle forecast around 09:00, indicating that poor visibility will likely persist. The summit temperature is 19.5℃, and is expected to exceed 20℃ during the day. However, gusty winds could lower the perceived temperature to the low teens. If you get wet, the perceived temperature will drop further, so it is essential to carry a light fleece, wind shell, and fully waterproof rainwear, adjusting your layers as needed.

Ground conditions will be dry to slightly wet with light drizzle during the day. However, light drizzle is forecast around 00:00 overnight, followed by light rain around 03:00, transforming conditions to wet and muddy by evening. Slippery sections may appear, requiring careful footing. Crampons or microspikes are not needed, but waterproof hiking boots are essential.

While the Furano Ropeway is currently operating without issues, gusts are forecast to strengthen to 19.6m/s overnight. This will not affect daytime operations, but be mindful of the wind conditions during the night. No thunderstorms are forecast. The risk of hypothermia is low, but getting wet and exposed to wind can lead to body heat loss, so prompt use of rain gear and knowing when to turn back are crucial. Daytime hiking is possible, but be prepared with appropriate gear and plans for poor visibility and nighttime rain.
