Naeba summit is currently partly cloudy with a temperature of 14.5°C, which is 7.2°C cooler than the base at 21.7°C. While the morning remains calm, precipitation probability increases by noon, with light drizzle expected around 15:00. Winds will stay light throughout the day, with gusts not exceeding 5.8m/s, posing a low risk of strong winds.

The afternoon drizzle will reduce visibility on the expansive summit plateau, increasing the risk of getting lost in dense fog. Thoroughly verify your current position using GPS, maps, and a compass. Additionally, the wooden boardwalks across the wetlands will become slippery when wet, and areas outside the boardwalks will turn muddy. Strict adherence to the rule against stepping off the boardwalks in the wetlands is crucial. Ground conditions will remain wet to muddy throughout the day.

There are no current indications of lightning. Temperatures will range from 13-15°C, so hypothermia risk is low with appropriate layering. However, getting wet from the drizzle can rapidly lower your perceived temperature. Ensure you carry quick-drying base layers, a light fleece for a mid-layer, and waterproof-breathable rain gear (jacket and pants) as an outer layer. Waterproof hiking boots are essential. Crampons or microspikes are not required.
