Mount Ibuki's summit is currently experiencing drizzle with visibility below 1km, a temperature of 12.8℃, and 99% humidity. The mountain base (ski slope base) is at 20.2℃ with light drizzle, making the summit 7.4℃ colder than the base. Light to moderate rain is expected throughout the day, with precipitation reaching up to 2.6mm by noon. The ground will be entirely wet and muddy, with the limestone terrain becoming particularly slippery.

The current wind speed of 1.8m/s and temperature of 12.8℃ result in a felt temperature of 12.7℃. However, getting wet from rain and high humidity will rapidly decrease your body temperature. A quick-drying base layer, a fleece mid-layer, and a waterproof-breathable rain jacket and pants are essential. Carry additional insulation to wear during breaks to actively maintain warmth.

Poor visibility will persist throughout the day, increasing the risk of getting lost in fog, a specific hazard on Mount Ibuki. The summit area of the Omote Tozando (main climbing trail) is exposed, making it easy to lose direction in low visibility. Carry a GPS device or a map and compass, and constantly check your location while proceeding cautiously. Gusts up to 12m/s are not strong enough to impede movement, but their impact on a wet body can be significant.

Precipitation is expected to cease after 6 PM, with weather improving to mostly clear skies overnight. However, temperatures will gradually drop, reaching 11.3℃ by 3 AM tomorrow. For any nighttime activities, continue to carry a headlamp and ensure adequate cold weather protection.
