Today on Ibukiyama, the summit is cloudy with limited visibility at 2.8km. Humidity is very high at 99%, and there is a 7.6℃ temperature difference from the base. Although the forecast for the daytime is mainly partly cloudy, expect a damp atmosphere throughout the day.

The perceived temperature at the summit between 9 AM and 3 PM is expected to range from 14℃ to 16℃. While cool for summer, the risk of hypothermia is currently low. However, due to high humidity and a forecast of light rain early tomorrow morning, the limestone terrain of the Omote Tozando (main climbing route) and around the summit will be very wet and slippery. Expect muddy sections. Waterproof hiking boots are essential for foot protection. Carry full rain gear (jacket and pants) also as an insulation layer. For layering, use a quick-drying base layer, a thin fleece for a mid-layer, and a waterproof-breathable shell for an outer layer.

Gusts will reach a maximum of about 9.1m/s, which should not significantly impede movement. However, visibility will remain poor at around 2.8km throughout the day, so be especially vigilant against getting lost in the fog, particularly near the summit. While the route from the end of the Driveway to the summit is relatively clear even in low visibility, avoid any casual deviation from the established path.

From evening into the night, cloudy conditions will persist, with temperatures settling into the 13℃ range. Light rain is anticipated by 3 AM on July 5th, so nighttime activity is not recommended. Overall, mountain activity is feasible, but exercise extreme caution due to poor visibility and slippery footing, and plan for an early return.
