Naeba Mountain is currently experiencing light cloud cover with a summit temperature of 10.7℃ and a feels like temperature of 10.2℃, accompanied by high humidity at 94%. Visibility is already poor, less than 1km. The temperature difference from the base is 6.9℃, so be mindful of the cooler summit conditions throughout your activity. While morning hours are forecast to be mostly clear, light drizzle is expected to begin around noon, intensifying to moderate drizzle by 3 PM and heavy drizzle by 6 PM. Drizzle will continue intermittently through the night, with conditions improving towards early morning on the 30th.

Temperatures will hover around 12-14℃ during the day, but the drizzle will cause a significant drop in felt temperature. Essential layering includes a quick-drying base layer, an insulating mid-layer like fleece, and a full waterproof and breathable shell. On the expansive plateau of the summit wetland, the combination of drizzle and poor visibility presents a high risk of getting lost in dense fog. Constantly check your GPS and map to stay on route.

Ground conditions will transition from wet to muddy due to continuous precipitation. The wooden boardwalks across the wetlands will be slippery; exercise extreme caution with your footing and strictly avoid stepping off the designated paths. While strong winds are not a major concern, the persistent drizzle at around 10℃ significantly increases the risk of hypothermia. Wear extra insulating layers during breaks and promptly change out of any wet clothing. There are no current indications of thunderstorms, but always be vigilant for sudden summer weather changes by monitoring cloud formations.
