Currently, the summit of Mt. Shari is cloudy with a temperature of 8.5°C, feeling like 5.1°C. Wind speed is 5.15m/s with gusts reaching 17.4m/s. The temperature difference from the base is approximately 5.6°C. Poor visibility of less than 1km is expected throughout the day, with light drizzle starting around 9 AM and gusts exceeding 18m/s. The ground will be generally wet to muddy due to drizzle and high humidity. Water levels in the streams will rise, posing a very high risk of slipping and falling, especially on the Old Route with its continuous waterfalls and slippery rocks. There is also a possibility of streams becoming impassable due to rapid swelling. Therefore, using the Old Route is not recommended.

The New Route ridgeline will also be extremely difficult to traverse due to predicted gusts exceeding 18m/s, creating a high risk of losing balance. Hypothermia risk is significant; with the current perceived temperature of 5.1°C, getting wet from drizzle and wind will rapidly lower body temperature. A wicking base layer, fleece mid-layer, and waterproof-breathable shell are essential. Gloves and a beanie should also be carried.

From 6 PM, light drizzle will turn into rain, with precipitation increasing to a maximum of 5.4mm overnight, and thunderstorms predicted by 3 AM. Considering the poor visibility, strong winds, wet ground conditions, and increased stream risks, ascending Mt. Shari today is deemed unsafe.
