Gusts reaching 9.6 m/s on the ridge line contribute to the chill. Base camp temperature is 20.2°C, highlighting a significant temperature difference.

Trail conditions are currently wet but will become increasingly muddy with the accumulating precipitation. The Nukabira River course, which involves over 20 river crossings, is particularly vulnerable to rising water levels from afternoon rainfall. There is a high risk of crossings becoming impassable due to rapid swelling. Attempting to cross swollen rivers carries a significant danger of slipping or being swept away, demanding careful assessment.

Rainfall will intensify further into the evening, with a 100% chance of showers by 9 PM and thunderstorms forecast around midnight. Temperatures will drop to approximately 6°C, increasing the risk of hypothermia if exposed to rain. Essential gear includes a fast-drying base layer, a fleece mid-layer, a waterproof and breathable rain suit for outer protection, along with waterproof gloves and a hat. All outdoor activities should be concluded early in the afternoon, with prompt retreat to a safe location such as Horoshiri Sanso.
