Hakusan summit is currently cloudy with a temperature of 5.8°C, feeling like 2.5°C. Gusts have reached 13.1m/s. The temperature difference from the base is significant at 9.5°C. Although the daytime will transition from partly cloudy, light rain is expected from the afternoon, with a 78% chance of precipitation by 15:00. Apparent temperatures will hover between 1°C and 4°C throughout the day, making a waterproof and breathable outer shell, a mid-layer such as fleece, and a quick-drying base layer essential. Gloves and a hat should also be carried.

The ground is exposed rock with no residual snow, but the afternoon drizzle will make conditions wet and slippery. Especially on ridges leading to Gozenmine and Ohanomine, gusts are forecast to reach up to 16.4m/s, posing a risk of losing balance. Coupled with poor visibility due to dense fog, the risk of hypothermia also increases. Early starts and descents before weather deterioration are strongly recommended.

Rainfall will intensify towards the evening and night, with forecasts of 6.6mm by 21:00 and heavy rain of 7.8mm by early morning. Gusts will also reach 21m/s in the late night. Nighttime activities should be avoided. Those staying in mountain huts should be fully prepared for prolonged stays.
