Light drizzle will continue throughout the day, intensifying to moderate rain by 3 PM, when the temperature will drop to 4.5℃. High humidity combined with rain will significantly lower the perceived temperature. As indicated by the automatic risk assessment, a rapid temperature drop of 8℃ is expected during the forecast period. Therefore, carry an extra layer of insulation and be prepared to turn back early.

Trail conditions will be wet overall. The afternoon rain will likely create muddy sections, especially on the Bogakudai Course and around the Taisho Crater area.
