Forecast shows a drop from 7.2℃ to 5.6℃ during the day, with light rain expected from around 3 PM, followed by drizzle in the evening.

Ground conditions are primarily exposed rock due to zero snow depth. However, sections will become wet and muddy after the afternoon rain. Caution is advised, as footing on common routes like Sabo Shindo will become slippery.

Essential layering includes a moisture-wicking base, fleece or light down mid-layer, and waterproof breathable shell jacket and pants. Gloves and a hat are also crucial. Crampons or microspikes are not needed, but full waterproof rain gear is mandatory for the afternoon rain.

While no significant alerts were automatically detected, gusts exceeding 10 m/s are anticipated this afternoon on exposed ridges such as Gozenmine and Onanjimine, further lowering the perceived temperature. The combination of rain and wind increases the risk of hypothermia, making early action and timely decision to turn back crucial. Light rain or drizzle will continue into the evening, with summit temperatures dropping to around 1℃ overnight. All activities should conclude by early afternoon.
