Today, Niseko Annupuri will experience mild weather conditions throughout the day. The summit area will see clouds giving way to clear skies in the afternoon, offering excellent visibility. There is approximately a 6-degree Celsius temperature difference between the summit and the base, making the summit feel cooler.

Ground conditions are primarily dry. There is no snow cover, and no precipitation is forecasted, allowing for ascent with standard hiking boots. However, be cautious of damp sections or mud in shaded areas and along stream beds, particularly on parts of the routes centered around the northwestern slope ski area. Winds today are relatively light, mitigating the typical risk of "strong winds on the ridge" specific to Niseko Annupuri, but be prepared for occasional gusts.

The automated risk assessment indicates a rapid temperature drop, making it essential to carry adequate insulation layers. Daytime summit temperatures will feel comfortable, around 15 degrees Celsius, but will drop to 8 degrees in the evening and into the 4s overnight. If your activity extends into the evening, a quick-drying base layer, a light fleece mid-layer, and a windproof shell are recommended, along with additional insulating clothing. Crampons or microspikes are not necessary, but a lightweight rain gear is advisable.

Lightning risk is low, and strong winds are not expected to impact climbing activities. While the risk of hypothermia is low during the day, pay close attention to the temperature drop at night and aim for an early start and descent.
