天狗岳へは慎重に。鎖場は濡れ滑りやすい

The summit area of Mt. Ishizuchi is currently cloudy with a real feel temperature of 9.5 degrees Celsius. While the weather is expected to transition from cloudy to partly sunny throughout the day, high humidity will persist, keeping rock surfaces and chained sections wet. Daytime high temperatures will reach around 12 degrees Celsius, but strong gusts from the northwest, peaking at 15.1 m/s, will significantly lower the perceived temperature on exposed ridges.

Ground conditions are generally wet. Specifically, the chained sections such as Ichino-kusari, Nino-kusari, and Sanno-kusari are very slippery due to the dampness. When using the chains, maintain three points of contact and carefully check your footing. The narrow rocky ridge leading to Tengudake is particularly susceptible to strong gusts, making it easy to lose balance. Consider using bypass routes and avoid attempting the chained sections if you are not confident.

Essential gear includes a quick-drying base layer, a mid-layer like fleece, and a windproof, waterproof outer shell. Wear your outer shell during breaks or in windy areas to maintain body temperature. Gloves are effective for hand protection on chains and for warmth. Although the probability of precipitation is low, carry rain gear as a precaution.
