Navigating exposed ridges from Tamoyachidake Ropeway towards Mt. Odake, or open wetlands, carries an extremely high risk of falling and getting lost. Exercise extreme caution in planning your movements. The ground is free of snow and precipitation, but high humidity and daytime temperatures suggest wet to muddy conditions, with exposed rock. Essential gear includes a waterproof and windproof hard-shell jacket and pants.
