Under these conditions, navigating the expansive wetland of the summit plateau carries a very high risk of getting lost. While the forecast indicates a transition to partly cloudy skies during the day, it is uncertain if the fog will completely clear, necessitating continued vigilance against poor visibility and low temperatures.

Although temperatures are expected to gradually rise to 8.1 degrees Celsius by 3 PM, high humidity and potential for getting wet from drizzle can rapidly deplete body heat. Be highly aware of the risk of hypothermia. Essential gear includes waterproof and breathable rainwear (jacket and pants), waterproof gloves, and a hat. Wear moisture-wicking base layers and insulating mid-layers like fleece or light down, actively maintaining warmth during breaks.

Winds are expected to calm in the afternoon, with clear skies predicted for the night, but temperatures will drop again after sunset, so continue to prioritize cold weather protection for any evening activities.
