Currently, Hakusan summit is partly cloudy with a temperature of 1.5℃, feeling like -1.4℃. There is a significant 9.7℃ difference from the base. Partly cloudy conditions will persist through the morning, but light drizzle is expected around noon, intensifying to steady mist in the afternoon with a 100% chance of precipitation. The ground will become wet, with muddy sections likely along popular routes like Sabo Shindo.

Daytime temperatures will hover around 4℃, but the mist will make it feel colder. Waterproof and breathable rain gear, both jacket and pants, are essential. For layering, prepare a moisture-wicking base layer, a fleece or light down mid-layer, and a waterproof shell as an outer layer. Carry warm gloves and a beanie to prevent hypothermia.

Visibility is expected to deteriorate in the afternoon with the onset of precipitation. Ridges such as Gozenmine and Onanjimine may experience dense fog, increasing the risk of getting lost. Frequent navigation checks with a GPS or map are crucial, especially on complex terrain like the "Oike Meguri" (pond circuit) route.

Temperatures will drop further overnight, with snow forecast for early morning tomorrow at 3 AM. It is advisable to finish your activities early and avoid ambitious plans.
